Our story began back in 1932, when our founder, Henry Schein, opened a pharmacy in Woodside (Queens), New York. Over the next 94 years, Henry Schein, Inc. continuously transformed and reinvented the organization to meet evolving customer needs, taking advantage of new technologies and exploring new markets.

Henry Schein Elects William K. “Dan” Daniel as Independent Chairman of the Board

The Company announced the election of William K. “Dan” Daniel as Independent Chairman of the Board, effective May 21, 2026. Mr. Daniel succeeds Stanley M. Bergman, who retired from the Board after 44 years of service and was named Chairman Emeritus in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to Henry Schein.

“I am deeply honored to assume the role of Chairman and am committed to building upon the extraordinary foundation that Stan Bergman and Team Schein established over his tenure,” said Mr. Daniel. “I look forward to supporting this legacy with the Board as we enter an exciting new chapter of growth.”
