(Nasdaq: HSIC), has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Eversmile for smartIPR™—an advanced Interproximal Reduction (IPR) system. Now available through HSO in the United States, smartIPR™ helps modernize and simplify IPR procedures by allowing clinicians to open tight interproximal contacts gradually with precision, while minimizing the risk of cutting hard or soft tissue.
smartIPR™ eliminates the need for traditional, razor-sharp hand strips and spinning disks, providing clinicians with a controlled approach to IPR procedures using oscillation. The system utilizes a vibrating handpiece paired with non-rotating, lubricated smart DISKS to gently glide between teeth, polishing enamel surfaces and creating precise space.
